Blood Pressure Screening measures the pressure made by circulating blood on the walls of the arteries, veins and heart. If the participant's results are outside of normal ranges, further evaluation by a healthcare provider may be encouraged.

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measurement which uses a specific measurement tool, the individual's height and weight to identify their health risk. BMI is considered reliable for assessing obese populations. It does not take into account a person's fat-to-muscle ratio (muscle takes up space but weighs more than fat). Therefore, it is not a reliable measure for athletes or highly physically active participants.
Breast Screening is done to identify changes in shape or size or skim dimpling followed by a thorough examination of the breast, chest and armpit. The health professional also teaches the participant the proper technique for a systematic breast self-exam.
Foot Screening assesses for corns, calluses, bunions, blisters, skin conditions (i.e., fungus), plantar warts, heel pain, structural abnormalities, skin and toenails, temperature, pulses, reflexes and circulation.
Hearing Screening professionals screen use visual examination of participant ears and, according to procedure, tests hearing frequency levels of each ear. Participant failures to hear on two or more frequencies need further evaluation. Please note: those with hearing aides do not qualify
Lung Function Screening screens participants with known or potential for lung disease, using specific criteria. Performed by a Respiratory Therapist, health professionals trained in pulmonary function testing and/or students, there is also an educational component regarding lung diseases.
Oral Screening professionals conduct a clinical examination of the lips, mucosa, gingival, teeth, pharynx, tongue and floor of the mouth, teaching participant the importance of periodic oral exams and risk factors for oral diseases.
Oximtry: blood oxygen measurement to check for lung function.
Pulse Screening is primarily measured on the radial artery in the participant's wrist. A pulse is a complex phenomenon of the heart, corresponding to each beat of the heart. The normal number of pulse beats per minute in the average adult varies from 60 to 80, with fluctuations occurring with exercise, injury, illness and emotional reactions.
Skin Fold Screenings are done by performing measurements on three sites of the body. Based on those measurements, the screener is able to determine body fat estimate through guidelines.
Skin Screening is conducted, on a limited basis, examining the skin for changes color, texture, moles, non-healing scabs, ulcerations and other disorders of the skin.
Stress/Life Balance Screening identifies personal stressors in the participant's personal and professional lives through screening tools. The professional then discusses methods to help participant deal with stressors to ensure a healthier lifestyle.
Talk with a Health Professional is the opportunity the individual takes to speak one-on-one with a health professional. It is also during this screening that the health professional may review the individual's overall health fair results, make recommendations for further evaluation, set realistic goals with the individual, and provide resources for more information and/or education.
Vision Screening is a measure of the power of the eye, particularly with its ability to distinguish letters and numbers at a given distance. This screening is invalid if the participant does not wear their glasses or contacts during the screening.
