Muslims Intent on Learning & Activism-MILA is pleased to announce the first lecture in its 2006 Lecture Series: A lecture by that the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Head Imam of Al-Aqsa mosque, Shaikh Ekrima Sabri.

Dr. Ekrima Sabri received his Ph.D. from Al-Azhar University in Cairo Egypt and has been serving as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine since 1994.He is the lead Imam of the third Holiest place for Muslims. The Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock are known to Muslims world wide as Al Haram Al Shareef ( the Noble Sanctuary.)
